The In-Between Place
The In-Between Place, video, audio, and crochet installation, 2018-2020
The In-Between Place represents a meditative reflection on the human-altered landscape, specifically situated within a 70-acre plot of privately owned and preserved Acadian forest, located in Upper Economy, Nova Scotia. The body of work is composed of a series of overlaid videos of myself crocheting in different areas within this expanse of land, as well as the crochet form that resulted from this activity.
The In-Between Place was exhibited at the Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador Art Gallery from August 21 - September 25, 2020.
